“Even as a young boy, I always wanted to be a tennis player. You could also say that my parents, two excellent table tennis players, kind of put the talent and passion in my cradle. I was always considered a talent during my junior years, but then in 2020 events came thick and fast. Due to the Corona virus, we could hardly play any tournaments in 2020, and then out of nowhere I had a great victory in Roland-Garros against my friend Leandro Riedi in the final. To crown the tournament week, I also won in the doubles.”
